Where is the rock laboratory located?

The Mont Terri rock laboratory is situated to the north of St-Ursanne in the canton of Jura, around 300 m underground. It is accessed via the safety gallery of the Mont Terri motorway tunnel.

The Mont Terri rock laboratory is located in St-Ursanne in the Clos du Doubs region. The last chain of the “Faltenjura” (Folded Jura) range is traversed by the Mont Terri motorway tunnel and stretches into the Ajoie region to the district capital, Porrentruy. Access to the rock laboratory is via the safety gallery of the motorway tunnel.
